The White Christmas Album

This is me, near the New Jersey turnpike, with my sister Jen and her two daughters, Nina and Jules.

Despite the solid 70s F forecast in California, I headed east for the holidays.  I spent Christmas and New Year with my sister's family in New York... still my favorite American city.

After I land at JFK, I head out to Mid Town for a Bear Stearns reunion, cele- brating the good times we had together that outlived our beloved firm. In this photo is Cappy, Mo, Johnny Mo and Adam- part of the Emerging Market Corporate Bond team- an experience Billy Murph described as "middle school without a teacher."

Thanks WJ for taking me out to dinner later on that week!

I changed gears the next day, attending the Christ- mas Program of Saint Sebas- tian School in Queens to watch my nieces perform.  It was a unique experience for a single gal like me to rub elbows with the suburban PTA crowd.

A New York Christ- mas is not com- plete without a trip to Rocke- feller Plaza to see "the" tree. Its festive lights competing with the hundreds of flash going off every second.

The best part of the trip is spending time with my nieces, Jules and Nina (whom I fondly call "Barnie") who were patient to take their aunt around, and sat still for ALL those movies.

I fear the day that they will be taller than me, and tell me they are not kids anymore.  But for now, I am so proud to get to know two lovely young women coming to their own.

I am looking forward to your visit in California this summer!

Ting, Christmas is best spent with those who matter the most to us! I am pleased to hear that you had an enjoyable time with your sister, nieces, and old friends. Nervermind, the cold.
