Chimera... courtesy of my Mac Thesarus, I found a sophisticated word for "delusion."
This week has been hectic. I had to memorize Ancient Near East Maps, Greek verb paradigms and a few memory verses. I had two papers due, a presentation to do and the Mid-terms are lurking. My brain is so crammed, I might just grow a thumb drive off my ears.
So, while I take a 'break' from typing away yet another research paper, I took Missy's idea of "stop and smell... the watches." (I prefer them to purses.)
Found this Rolex Pearlmaster on the web, the photos are just so alluring. Even with my double vision from staring at the computer screen all day, I can almost see it on my wrist. Oooooh...
Snap! now, back to the books.

Steve Jobs needs a Greek lesson; a Chimera is an imaginary combination of several animals in one fantastical mythical creature; a delusion is, well, something else. Besides, the price tag on this Swiss beauty will probably fetch you a seven bedroom house on the coast with Humvees in all the colours of the rainbow in the garage.
Niiice! I'm dreaming of shoes!
Oh wait, no, I have to study Theo 1, and Historical Theo-Midterm coming soon, likewise with Old Testament. And I'm pretty sure I haven't gotten all my prep done for the small group I'm leading per my Pastoral Care and Counseling Class...
*sigh*
Its nice that Mentoring has such easy reading!
Shoes, sweet shoes, just hang on until Christmas break...!
I love that post, Ting! It's always fun to dream! Meanwhile, I just posted some pictures that I took on the Silk Road. I am soooo sure you will love the place. Kashgar, in particular, was a welcome remnder of how life could be so simple and so beautiful!
