Myers School Lounge

lounge |lounj| verb [intrans.] lie, sit, or stand in a relaxed or lazy way;

This is me at the Myers Student Lounge.  Though the above definition is correct, it should be added that this lounge is actually a place to cram for exams, last minute memorization and informal study groups.  Even when that involves taking pictures off your Macbook (in this case, Timmery's).

I am on a summer break, and I miss school. (Spoken like a true geek.)  I miss the intellectual activity, the interaction, the provocation of ideas and ideals.  I miss the discipline imposed by deadlines and schedules.  These past few weeks, all I seem to do is lie, sit or stand in a relaxed or lazy way.

Thankfully, I am back to The Lounge next week.  I am taking Greek I and Greek II this summer.  I bought books from the school bookstore this week.  The guy at the counter, surmising what the books are for, quipped- "You're taking the rapid-fire crash course Greek?"

Yes, and I bet the first verb that I would learn is not "lounge."
